Dear Readers,

After the last issue of the #sailing sofa, it has become quiet on our website and on Facebook. We gave a lot of gas, to renovate our apartment so far, that we can welcome our new roommate in mid-June. We'll be parents a second time.

But a lot else happened in the spring as well. About a week ago we signed the sales contract for a new boat. We don't want to reveal too much yet ... but it's not a catamaran and it's not in Germany. A crazy idea, actually. And an exceptional boat in every respect. But when we look at the pieces of the puzzle of our new life as a small family, that fits the boat as a piece of the puzzle.

Ihr dürft gespannt sein, we will (hopefully!) report more about it soon, as soon as traveling is easier again. Then it will be again YouTube-Videos give. At this point THANK YOU everyone, who also help us Patreon consequences. We really appreciate that!

Yesterday evening a long-awaited delivery came from Delius Klasing Verlag: My very first book “Solo across the Atlantic” is available again immediately. If you count the hardcover- and paperback editions together, then it is already the fifth edition. Whoever would like to have the book - or another one from our small bookstore - signed, can order it here.

Who it is by tomorrow morning (Friday) ordered, would have to receive it on Saturday and in time for Mother's Day.

Actually, we had planned a meeting again for this spring or summer, as we did in Hamburg a few years ago. We wrote spontaneously on Facebook: “Who likes to drink cocktails? We're sitting in a bar on Gänsemarkt on Thursday” - and about the evening 40 Blog readers come! But unfortunately that will have to wait a little longer because of the corona situation.
