Today we finally have the boat eingewintert. As early as three weeks, it went without our help and thanks to our lovely harbor-master ashore Harald. I had to do on the weekends at the state of the Yacht to the Hanse boat quite well. Also last weekend, it went well with the Hibernation does not really. At first I was first three days on the travel fair “VIVA Touristika” in Frankfurt, where I turn the desert known by hikers and adventurers Achill Moser my story of crossing the Atlantic with Maverick told. The show was great and the visit has a ticket price of 6 Worth EUR only because of the many travel lectures. The other stages are more adventurous bicycle tours to Shanghai, long hikes and kayak trips on all waters of the world reported. Highly exciting. Since then, I would imagine, drive to other way around the world, than under sail. I was surprised, however,, I at the end of the three days was one of my books. 10 sold, 8 stolen … 🙁
Lectures on the VIVA Touristika in Frankfurt
The travel plans with their own boats are available for Cati and me but still high on the list. Everything has its time, however - and this one is just under the heading “Working hours”. My job for the winter, it is to make money and save at the same time. This works especially thanks to the lectures. When I visited in recent years, many yacht clubs and my history with them “Maverick” I told, I invite you now more and more large companies, to accompany their evening feast or her incentive to make. That's always a lot of fun 🙂
The boat is now completely eingewintert first, eliminated and abgeplant. By February or March we will go look at most times to the right. After the last 1,5 Years have really spent almost every weekend on board, It is quite a familiarization. Nevertheless, there were six months ago, no weekends, at the time I was at home watching TV.
The year is slowly coming to an end. We have noticed it today, as early as 16 Clock the sun went down. The cone of the car headlight succeeded but still very good, to tie down the boat.
