Dear Readers,
at the traffic curve in Google Analytics I can see: It's slow time again, to type a few lines.
Also los:
This past weekend was a turbulent. Just 1.400 km, has carried me my old golf, brave and reliable. This is not a matter of course, denn der Kilometerzähler nähert sich immer mehr der Zahl 300.000. Am Sonntagnachmittag war ich im Hannoverschen Yachtclub in Steinhude zu Gast. The vice president had me at Land Rover Live seen in Hanover and immediately committed to a club event. For more than 15 Years, I have not been back on Steinhude so I was very excited. Lectures are usually visited in the summer so not very good, because it is still too bright even at night for the projector - and also, most sailors prefer to use their boats or on vacation. However, the clubhouse was crowded with a great audience. It was a very nice afternoon with really friendly people. Damage, I have no picture of it.
The visit to “Gipsy Girl” limited only according to the Monday (a short side trip on Friday, not including). That same evening after the lecture I filled forty liters of diesel, Red Bull and a half and went on my old familiar A7. Shortly before one clock in the morning I gathered Cati in Kiel, shortly before half past two we were in Kopperby – and soon after a beer in the bunk. However, we were well on their feet Monday. Finally a relaxing day. The first long-. I was able to prepare some things, Dimensions for the proposed auxiliary rudder windvane take, perform an oil change (Capacity: 13 Liter!! Puuuh …), two of the four water tanks on board clean - and even read a few chapters in my book. The nicest thing about the day but the coffee in the afternoon. My mother had given home-baked cakes, The coffee came from Austria. A very kind reader of this blog had sent us a little care package for craft time on board. Coffee, Cookies, Wipes (need more time ;-)) and a book by one of my favorite authors, Clive Cussler. Its Dirk Pitt stories I then devoured during my Atlantic voyage and thus learned English. Thank you for this great gift to Vienna! 🙂
Care Package from Austria
Now the day has us back. Cati is very busy with their specific subject area test, to take place next week. A big thing. Accordingly, it is the socket. It is day and night learning. However, I have just now a new story for the YACHT completed, in which Heft 15 appears, in parallel, a Competition organized, the 12 lucky winner (and I :-)) on Saturday leads to a sailing trip in the Kiel Week. So back to the boat is just the Sunday Craft. Then, probably the last charcoal filters are installed in the water network, possibly a drainage pump for gray water tank - and I am a new leak in the hot water line density, by the already tuned a brand new diesel filter had to believe ...
Soon there will be more exciting things to report back. I hope. The next big construction project will be the rudder blade 🙂
Stay tuned!
John
By the way: Place 97 among the top 100!!! 🙂
